dicomLINK is a product utilizing DICOM services in order to communicate and export visible light images to other DICOM compliant systems, allowing MPACS’ fyreLINK VL software application to fully participate in a DICOM environment.

dicomLINK sends images to remote DICOM Application Entities (AE) after first converting them to a DICOM format from their locally stored file format. Any number of images from a study can be selected for transmission to the remote DICOM AE. All images are transmitted using the C-STORE Service Class. Local requests by users for verification of the status of remote AE’s are sent using the C-ECHO Service Class.
